I guess I'll play...

When I become a billionaire

OK, I'll do this thing.

What was I doing 10 years ago?

I had just quit my career working at a package store in Vernon, CT two years prior and took a job working for my friend Dean. We were doing some wiring in the G-Fox building in Hartford for TCI Cable. Little did I know that this would be the beginning of a great bunch of jobs in the Telecom field. I was not with Allison yet, and having kids was not even a thought. I can't imagine life now without my great wife and beautiful son.

2.) What are 5 things on my to-do list for today (not in any particular order):

Take another shower so I can get ready and meet some friends down at the Nugget.
Eat some leftover Costco pizza for dinner (since it rocks)
Finish this post so everyone will stop asking me when I am going to post again.
I am considering helping my wife with laundry before I leave, but no promises.
Give my son plenty of kisses before he goes to bed.

3) Snacks I enjoy:

Double Stuf Oreos
Otter Pops
Drumsticks

4) Things I would do if I were a billionaire:

Pay off all of our debt immediately, no doubt.
Buy a modest home in Vermont on plenty of land.
Make plans to visit all of my family whenever we wanted to.
Buy James a full size real steam engine with a working Choo Choo whistle!

5) Places I have lived:

Ashford, CT
Ellington, CT
Manchester, CT
Vernon, CT
Suffield, CT
Enfield, CT
Henderson, NV
North Las Vegas, NV

6.) Jobs I have had: McDonalds, Burger King, Savings Bank of Manchester, Vernon Circle Package Store, The Scarlet Begonia, Team Telecom, TAD Telecom, Reliance Com Tec, Reltec, Marconi, Emerson Network Power, Cox Communications.

7.) 6 peeps I wanna know more about:

I think everyone who has a blog has already been asked, oh well.

Fun in the sand

When my cousin Chris came to visit in April this year, one of the fun activities I had planned for us was to go ATVing. Since I had recently sold my ATV's, I borrowed a Rhino from a friend and off we went. Since we had other things planned that day, we decided to stay in the Las Vegas area and not travel too far outside of town. We went and played at a place called Nellis Dunes. Here is a picture of the view of Las Vegas from Nellis Dunes.

Here is the view of Mt. Charleston from up there.

Here is a picture of me standing next to the Rhino...

And a picture of Chris enjoying the bearable April sunshine.

"Dude... this is so much fun"...

I know the front end is already a little messed up, but we have to catch some air...

What a fun time we had. Come back soon, Chris!

My How We've Aged

I want to start my first post of this "series" with a picture of myself. I challenge any of my fellow bloggers to post a picture like the one below showing a before and after of a similar time frame as mine. The earliest digital picture I could find of myself was 2000. I would like to see who has aged the most over say an 8 year period. After everyone who has posted wants to, I will ask my wife to help me set up an anonymous poll for who has aged the most. Certain people who may not want to participate or are slow to respond may show up on my blog unexpectedly. Understand?

Here it is .... 2001 to 2008. What a difference 8 years makes!

Trust me....it's OFF!

OK, so I know this isn't the most accurate way to measure the outdoor temperature, but...

you have to admit, it is DAMN hot outside when your grill thermometer starts getting excited!

OK, so here it is....

I am starting a blog. I wanted Allison to post some pictures recently and I decided, why not have my own blog! Granted, it will not be as interesting and updated as often as the family blog. It may be a little boring to some of you, but IT'S ALL MINE! I will be posting some interesting pictures past and present for your viewing pleasure.

In case you were wondering, yes, I do have a recliner. And yes, I do spend a lot of time sitting in it. There are a few things that I enjoy more than that, as you will see here.

Here is a picture of me with my boy:
